Diablo 3 magic find %

So i remember on D2 that no matter how much mf% I had it never realy made a difference. Actually I had 467% on a sorc that could gg any hell level no problem an I never noticed a difference.

So does stacking it on D3 work ? I have 67% an haven't really seen a difference just more rares outa dead bodys and rocks\stumps.

If anyone has found any sucess in this let me know and what % you use!

Well I am using a L57 wizard with 105% mf and I have seen a difference between 60% and 105%. I just found a legendary spear out of a body, but I would also like to learn more about it atm.

i geusse its all random but depends if your in normal and nightmare cuz if you are then yeah dont expect to find the lucky jackpot cuz those levels blow at items

When I have 5 stacks of the buff I find much more rares and without I rarely find some.

The neph buffs help alot. That combined with your MF should give you at least 1 rare per group of champions. Champions give best/highest ratio of good drops.

The amount of Mf = the quantity of drops.
The difficulty = the quality of the drops.

So the more mf you have, higher chance of more drops, thus giving you a better chance at finding rares/legendary.

I also read, when you're in a party, the mf is split up.
So for example, you have a four man party:
1- has 55mf
2- has 20mf
3- has 75 mf
4- has 50 mf
Total = 200, then divide by 4 which is 50%
You and each of your buds would have a total of 50mf.

Hope i said that right lmfao.

thats not right. cant be. ive found alot more drops in normal and better drops with less magic find. and higher quality

CAuse you have surely kill way more in normal than anywhere else. smile

The more mf you have + nep buff @ 5, the more items you'll get (5 nep buff + 100+ base mf stuff = 1+ rare per champions packs for a friend of mine)

When you get lvl 60 and you kill packs of uniques / champions ...
You get a stack of mf / gf. It can be stacked to lvl 5 (killing 5 packs so) and it gives you extra mf + gf
75 of each if i'm not wrong.
You keep this stack unless :
- You don't leave the game ;
- You don't change your skills / runes / passives ... ;
- You don't kill any others extra unique for 30 min.

All of that will put off your stack and you'll only have your base mf gear.
