so i clicked install, it tells me i need to activate to play.
i clicked activate now, then it asks me to log into battle.net.
i do, then it asks for game key, i looked for a game key but cannot find one.
when i go to the summary page, it says active under account status when i click on diablo 3.
i bought the game from blizzard... so does that mean i do not need to enter a key?

Yes, games bought off of blizzard are automatically activated and attached to your battle.net account.
Moreover you cannot add more than one diablo 3 cd key per account.

Then i'll go have a good / average night.
And tomorrow morning i'll wake up early (as everydays in fact :p)
Go have a little run, take a breakfast, do some hometask, then i'll be up for 4-5 hours gaming
1hour launch + do washing up or so.
Playing 7 hours more :O
1 hour Diner ...
4 hours playing.
This will be my new life line

You did wait about 3-5 years for this game, think you could wait half a day more ?
In fact i could, and will prefer play tomorrow when kids will have fallen asleep on their computer, and so lost their connection to give me a well deserved place in da server

I did get my box SE this afternoon.
The added coverbox is awesome and i did paid 15 € less than digital version, that i have due to the attachement of my key to my bnet account.
I did saved 15 € + i get a nice box that will go with others ;D
