The game is really hard at first.

Just 'go slumming' rather than Looking for a fight
Slumming = lower level monsters
Looking for a fight = same & possibly higher

You should read some stickies / faq's about logd
It'll help you understand a lot better

The purpose of LOGD is to defeat the Green Dragon,
For more experienced/high dk players it's easy, but I'm not sure if it'll be easy for you
