Overview
Promisance is a turn-based Web Strategy Game. Every few minutes (depending on which server you are playing), you will earn additional turns. You can use these turns to build structures on your land, explore for new land, generate more cash, or attacking other countries . Each new EMPIRE is under"protection" for a certain number of turns so that they may concentrate on developing an empire without worry of attack. During "protection", certain actions are not possible, such as attacking other empires and gaining interest in a savings acount. Promisance employs two methods of fighting other empires... military might and magicians. Magicians cast spells to obtain various results, and military forces must overcome the opposing might of other empires. (Note: The names of your military unites, magicians, etc. will change depending on which time "era" you are playing.)

Time Periods
There are three different time periods: PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE. You can be in the past and control ancient dragons and wondrous wizards or take hold of cyborgs and control an empire in the future. You can even stay in the present and fight with modern day war machines.

There are a total of nine races in promisance. Each race has unique bonuses and penalties. The nine races and their bonuses are......

The best strategy to run are what we will call power builds.
A power strategy is simple, if your a mage race build all your land 100% mage towers use tree of gold (tog) to get money to run and to buy grains to run and troops to gain land, when done with gaining land sell troops to cut expense and have enough money to build lands.

For a $$ strategy (gnomes work best for this) build 100% markets. use the money made to buy grains to run turns and troops to gain land.

For a industrial strategy (dwarfs or any other race that gives good bonus to industry production)build 100% blacksmiths sell the troops made on public market and private market to get cash and buy grains to run.

For a farming strategy (gremlins or any other race that give good bonus to food production) build all land 100% farms use the money from grain sales from public market (can get better price there) and private market grain sales for cash to run and buy troops to gain land.
