The only time I have is after a flawless victory, and then only one piece. It's better to sell off everything other than wep/armor.

a 1 DK farmer cant get any weapon or armor from ye olde equipment shop but if you want to make one here are some tips
choose dwarf, get the best mount, buy a squire, brive the bartender and choose change specialty, choose summoner, buy the best equipment, get to lvl 15, when you find elwich the master of all say yes and give her the gem to get extra points for summoner specialty, kill the monk to get points in summoner or other abilities, this is for farming gold, for farming gems use the trading posts, buy wool and cloth when you find them at 3 gems each sell when they offer 4 gems, buy leather when you find it at 4 gems and sell for 6

This will take a while to perfect though 
Like a week or so of playing for it to be worthwile.
For me, if there were infinite fights enabled. I'd go @ least 400 turns with all my specialities. Probably even more.

I forgot all about the bartender. I have over 60 points in my thieving skill set and 10-20 in the rest, I just never thought to change it...
Also is it just me or is anyone else not able to keep all sets at once? If I use bard song's skills it vanishes from the list until I level it and then it's just like starting over again.
