Ok it seems pretty obvious that it's best to spend a bit of gold on buffing up before going out.

Just wanna know of all the places to get buffed and all the possible negative effects like losing turns etc.

So far I just go and have a beer to get tipsy and that's it

I just wanted to pinpoint exactly what they are for an easy rotation smile

I'm sure it will help everyone else too...

I.E: go get tipsy, go eat some sweets, then go stroke a cat

The random effects can, but the combat buffs dont. It is best not to have a drink until the effect of your last drink has worn off.
.

Hardly seems worth the trouble.

I havn't been playing long but the amount of fights I survive with just 1 HP is insane, so I'm sure buff's would make a difference if 1 HP can make a difference smile
