manipulation takes practice. but in order to keep yourself a good person you also have to know when to do it and when to not. each person is different in their own way, some people easily spotting being manipulated (such as myself) its very touchy and takes years of practice, if you want to remain comfortable at your job i reccomend you not trying it until you know what your doing. read "The art of social engineering" by kevin mitnick, it helps a little bit.
