five Million Five hundred thousand dollars ( 5.5 M USD) at his
Bank in Benin here.
According to the Benin Law, at the expiration of Sis years
if nobody applies to claim the funds a grace of thirty (6) days will be
given before the money will revert to the ownership of the Benin government
treasury department.
I seek the consent to present you as the rightful next of
kin to my late client,since you have the same last name with him.

I called the Bank Maneger about this matter before contacted you and he said that i should contact any of this family member before the money can pay to them as i want.

So that the proceeds of the pâyment of the money to your account number to your Country so that i will come over there for the sharing of the money

i would think its something weird since the writer has very bad english, if it was really a serius letter they should have hired a person with better english, if you wnat to go more deeper into this matter visit CNN's site and research

If it ask for any bank account information, SSN, or else private information (it is only asking for public information), then do not do it.

Idk if you want to reply or not, I usually do for funsies.

Real attonery's do not do business via E-mail. Its unsafe and unsecure. Found this out the hard way after hireing(paying) an attoreny from 8 hours away.. i paid drive time ect. They must do everything in person, or via the phone. Also with an amount like this it would be no problem for him to fly to your door and hand you this same type of letter.

This would most likly be a scam.
