2 weeks now. Fuckin WOW cable, i've never had a problem until i got my digital cable. my internet connection speed has been slow as hell, sometimes i'll get 4,000kbps download and sometimes i'll get 56kbps download, i'll be on bnet when when it works ok and then it will hick-up and go down to 56k and i'll lag the game out for everyone.
its so frustrating i just haven't bothered to get on. WOW is supposed to be out tomorrow morning with a new modem so hopefully that is what the problem is.
i miss my D2  |

if you have a splitter on your cable modem ( tv/modem) that is a general point of failure. a $3 replacement may get you up to speed.
although cable is shared somewhat like an ethernet netork with speeds up to 28 mbps it is far superior to a T1 (1.54 mbps) at it's best.
You may need to replace the splitter or some line to enjoy that sort of connection though.

the cable company came yesterday morning and wuz there for like 3 hours, he had to run a new drop, give me a new cable modem and a new cable box, i guess my shit was really fucked up. aparently the cause of all this wuz a faulty cable box. it was backfeeding current which in turn messed up my modem. i'm good to go now, getting 4.4mbps, woot!
