Well, I had a forum. [It's still up, but I kinda left, and everyone else followed. xD] So in the couple of months it was up, I had made complete design changes every so often. if tramway has the site as it is is because he thinks its friendly and clean as it is

this suggestion section isnt about telling tramway what to do, it also is to tell him how to do it and why should he do it

its cool i agree that the forums need some new changes, but saying "the forums looks like happyguys ass, fix it" isnt going to help a lot, tramway is busy and thats why he made this subforum; he let us give our opinions, so he doesnt have to do all the effort

i never knocked any aspect of this forum and there were several specific suggestions posted so far. the thread/poll titles were more a lure than anything actually negative

-all of the games located at the top (play LOG, play Bnt, play chess, play aatraders) don't need to be there, maybe just the top one and the rest can be placed on a page that has them all

-on the main forum page, the folders next to the subforum links don't need to be there. they don't help really because most of the subforums themselves contain subforums and there could be a new post on any one of those pages. if you're interested in a subforum, you'll know what posts are new without the folder system

"diablo 2"
"games"
maybe merge featured games and regular games. like have a "games section" that has
-featured games
-diablo 2

those are some (small) changes i can think of off the top of my head that would really help the organization of the site
