Ok so as a vamp you start with an extra attack and vampiric elders buff (what ever that is).

i like how i can travel to darkhorse tavern though |
It's been so long I couldn't remember anything about coconuts other than it's a watered down snow lion (50 or 60 rounds without feeding), if it only lasts 30 rounds total give the raptor a try (attacks and steals hp per turn). As for class I'd stay with dwarf to get your equipment faster until you open up others.

Go to Romar and feed your mount after it has used it's buffs for an additional days worth (30 total). Dwarfs earn more gold after forest fights making it easier to buy your equip.
