The orb system can be very confusing, and hopefully this guide will help clear it up.

Orbs can be purchased with Forum Gold in the effects shop.However, not all orbs look the same, depending on what browser you use. The preview of the orb will show you how the orb will look on the specific browser you are using.

As you can see, Internet Explorer shows more of a "glowing" effect from the orb, while Firefox and Opera appear as more of a "shadow". Unfortunately, you cannot choose how your orb will look for different browsers, because of the way each browser is coded.

i got the solution for you: IE Tab

IE Tab is a small addon for Mozilla's Firefox.
you could download it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

how to install:
1) click on the link above and select "install now"
2) after waiting 5 seconds click on install
3) firefox needs to be restarted
4) Open it
5) tools -> IE Tab options

add the URLs you want to be shown in the InternetExplorer-engine.

restart firefox after you completed the setup and enjoy!

This things sweet , but becareful it logs you out and stuff and acts exactly like internet explorer would so you don't have all the cool tools of firefox, so if the sacrifice is worth the glow to you, go for it.

i really hope that the glows and stuff would work on firefox and stuff... cause at school they use idiot macs which has no IE lol
