ya... more a group of people who do things together...
for example... in my clan we host tronaments and stuff against each other in starcraft for fun!

I feel the purpose of joining or making a clan/guild on these forums is due to the fact that its a pretty stable forums with alot of legitimate members.
In the event you aquire best of the best then you can form a pac with them and be able to drive success to the forums and the more you grow the more the forums grows.
We strive to become the best D2Forums online.
When D3 is released we will become even larger and if you already have a group of members who u have gained trust and faith with them you can all gather together and pwn D3.
Its more then a tag, its a responsibility and established trust in the tag gains you more friends then you can imagine.
I dont have many friends on here as I am new, but with these tags and the issues I have gotten through on these forums I have earned respect and trust.
The members who are in my guild are all respected by me.
There are a number of other members associated with guilds and without guilds that I respect very much as well.
So, essentially its not the tag / guild / clan in the end that makes you who you are.
Only You make you who you are and what that tag / accnt name represents.
I do hope you take a moment and refer some of your friends, if you get 5 of your friends on these forums then you can make a guild/clan.
If it's not free still after 5 members then I will do my best to make sure you can have a guild.
Just gotta bring 5 members on and have them sign up and if 5 members use my accnt name Cinemax as reference I will give you free 50 fg to start.
Please Consider the potential, we can all be greater then ever, and we keep getting better.

Yes. I believe clans are a great source to make new friends. They also help you when you are in need of something. Also I feel very cool owning a clan and being a leader to fellow people that use this forum. You also get lots of respect from being in a clan and making good choices, helping out, giving ideas on how to improve and many things such as those.
