How to get/play diablo 2 without disks

This is a guide for people who : a) got their disks broken/scratched to the point where they cant install their d2 . b) people who want to save money and dont pay $40 for d2 + d2 expansion together.

step 1:
Find your diablo 2 / diablo expansion cd-keys
(you can get cd-keys from your friend , buy them for $, or pay fg for them.)

step 2:
once you have your cd-keys ready
go to blizzard's store.
just google "blizzard's store".

Step 3:
Register there:


When your registered you will be able to download games if you have your cd-keys.
1 thing tho,make sure nobody used this cd-keys to download from them before you
You can use cd-keys only ones! and download as many times as you want.

Step 4:
Login:
when you logan click on "account":


When you on your accounts page click on "Games":


when you clicked on games section new page will appear:
click on add new game there:


Step 5:
Enter your cd-key
it will automatically Find what game this cd-key is for and add it for you:

Enter cd-key here:


after you add it ull see it in your Games menu:



repeat the end of step 4 and step 5 for each game/expansion


click on windows icon if your using windows or silver mac icon if youre using mac:

a small window will pop up , like in any other download and save it where you want
it will download a downloader for the game:
go where you saved it and you will find something like this:


click on it , wait till it opens and wait till it downloads the game :


when download of d2 is done :
go to location where you downloaded d2 and ull find new folder there with d2 installer:


click on it , new window appears:
click on install

now you have to enter cd-key
Dont enter your cd-key that is on your box /or the one somebody sent you ( 14-digit one)

Enter the one diablo store gives you:
so go back to their site
go to game menu:
and on diablo tab click on view game key:


it will show you a new cd-key:

copy and paste it into your installers menu and it will work.

This works with every B.net game and after you installed it this way you wont need to use cds.
