gold limit does not allow you to buy certain things, since you cannot have that much gold

The simple answer is: You can't.

BNT is designed to be reset every so often, some folks run it for a month, some for as long as three months. Many of the game variables are stored in MySQL as bigint. Without getting too technical, the maximum value that can be is a hard limit. To go above that, we'd have to use floats (a data type that is designed to NOT be accurate), or decimal/numeric, which are hideously hard for the database to process. (Meaning it would make the game very unfriendly for admins to run it).

As a result, when you get to a certain point, the game kinda gets broken. We're working on it! Our hope is to introduce new ways to spend your credits, discourage hoarding, and build the credits more slowly. Its a game design issue, and those are tricky to fix.
