Question about MF

Does MF effect the amount of items or the quality of them? or both?

Well, sadly I am not 100% positive about MF for Diablo 3.

However, I do know that back in Diablo 2, the Magic Find percentage ONLY had an effect on the QUALITY of your items, not how much they drop.

I can only assume it would still be like this in Diablo 3, hope this helps and happy MF'ing!~

MF make you getting better quality items (i.e. rare +)
Nephalem make you get more items.
Also with 1.0.3 Neph' make you get at least 1 rare when you reach lvl 5 buff.

Before the patch i was getting 3+ rare at leoric / warden / butcher, with at least one of them sellable for 15k-1M, the lastest runs i've made i did get 1-3, but i haven't done that much runs since its release to make a well based comparison. Too much lags = too much death = too much repairs.

Nephalem Valor is a buff you get at level 60 for every elite pack you kill.

You can get up to 5 stacks, each one increases MF/GF by a bit(I forget exact number, I'm sure someone will post)

you need to have a big gap from 200+ mf then u will find the good items.
Neph helps a lot tho.

I found a Bk and a few rare ammys + rings that sold in AH for 2-5 mill

Dont trade on jsp i got offered 300k igg after like 10 post of betting and the item sold on AH for 3 mill xD

You get nephalem at lvl 60, it's a buff.
Every elite pack with blue or yellow name will increase your stack by one. Purple and bosses aren't counted in that.

You have 30 minutes to kill another pack before it goes to 0 again.
Each stack gives you 15% mf & 15% gf, max 75% each.

If you change your skill bar or just even a rune : you go back to 0 stacks.
Be carrefull if you use custom skills, if you accidently drag & drop a skill, it'll be considered as a skill change.
If you leave the party : 0 stacks.
If you go to another act (i.e. : kill butcher then go act 2) : you're back to 0 Stacks.

Also, i'm not 100% sure of this but nephalem stacks could also provide you better quality items, with the quantity add. Need to be confirmed.
