House and scrubs are apples and oranges. If you're into medicine then nothing really beats house. If you want a comedy that makes fun of actual medical controversies scrubs is perfect for that subtle sarcastic humor. Personally I've seen every episode of both shows, but if house didn't exist I'd kill myself

Well you're not missing anything. It always comes on Tuesday nights at 7pm (us central time) on Fox
The point of the thread was to rant with a fellow House fan on the massive decline the show has partaken. It seems the writers of the show have a severe case of ADHD because they cannot stick to one topic for the life of the show.
Every season there has been some constant behind the scenes factor. Ex. season 1 it was the big black guy who was in charge of the hospital, season 2 it was house's ex wife, season 3 it was the detective busting house over vicodin, season 4 everyone quit, etc.
the past couple of seasons have been such a fail because
1. the medicine has been horrible
2. they try to make every individual episode entertaining (and while there might be individual moments of entertainment) the season as a whole has been sloppy and incohesive.
for a house fan it's kinda frustrating because you feel the average fan could do a much better job. these views are not unique to me, they are the views of a majority of fans. because they (the writers) cannot stick to a subject they have severely damaged various characters in the show.
-house seems completely incapable of personal engagement which contradicts his behavior in the first 4 seasons
-cuddy seems like a cook all of a sudden because she can't get over a minor detail which contradicts her entire relationship with house
-foreman is being made up to be this narcisistic asshole which completely contradicts his views because he used to be this save the earth ill help those in need guy

Depends on my mood. But typically, I like the humor in House better.
But the sad Scrubs episodes are REALLY sad.

yeah, but there are a couple sad episodes per season in scrubs really.
the sad house episodes are almost tear jerkingly sad. that's only in the 3-4 sad episodes that there have been over the past 6-7 years. |
