Actually that apply to xp too , basically a setup in your bios that allow you to do that.
What kind of PC do you have? _____________________

graphic cards and cpus are separate, therefore, it will not change the temperature of your cpu, if it does, it will be a slight augmentation, maybe one or 2 degrees. If you want to monitor your temps you can use a program called speedfan it's free you can find it here:
http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
If you find your cpu and overall temperature too high, you can always add fans in your computer depending on the case you have.
If you don't have room for extra fans, and you think your cpu runs at a too high temp, you can always buy a new cpu fan.
I suggest you buy something from scythe, they have really reliable fans, and pretty quiet too.
If you need more help lmk.
Cheers. _____________________
