Dell has good selections I think cuz they are pretty much #1 in the computer market rite now. Probably will get your money's worth. I have a IBM Thinkpad though.

http://www.genitechcomputers.com/products/type/computers/notebooks/index.html

I got mine from Genitech, with a Core 2 Duo T7200 CPU, 80 GB HD and 1 GB Memory, using a nVIDIA GeForce 7700 GO Graphics Card, runs all my current games perfectly even though it's not near the top end. Basically if you're playing stuff like Lineage 2 or Splinter Cell then anything equal to or above the performance level of a ATI Radeon X1600/nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS Graphics Card will suffice you...on 1280x1024 which is most likely what you will get as a screen resolution.

It made perfect sense.

Enough said.

You can't upgrade apple laptops. Need some more hard drive space, better process? More ram? Nope, can't do it. Just go buy your self another piece of overpriced hardware.

For homework apple would be fine. However, I prefer Windows Word over Apples Word (Talking about the Apple imported Windows Word).

NO GAMES!!

I think WOW, D2, and a few other Bliz games are the only things you will be playing.

Just remember laptop = portability.

The two MOST important things are:

size/weight and battery life. thats IT.

Fuck performance, you have a desktop for that. Anyone that I know that has gotten a monster uber laptop has regretted it.

@ Azn: Do you have a budget on how much your willing to spend on the laptop?
