1. paypal is not safe at anytime the other person can do a paypal reversal even though it is easy yes id recommend only using it if you know you can trust the other person scammers know this is easily reversible so they will pay with it then reverse it.

2. if it is a large trade you might want to start by trading it in small chunks and not all at once.

3. getting a med if a mod will agree can help cut down on getting scamemd as well

4. pay attention to join dates donor access and reps other users have given them and if other users have given them rep who was it? this won't always work but it can help odds are a lot less likly a guy with donor stars 20 reps and a year old join date will scam over a guy that joined yesterday ( note reps could be from multis so see if anyone reputable gave any of the reps )

5. and above all try to trade smart often if things feel wrong they are so just be careful if you think a person might be a mutli pm a mod or me to see if there ips match any known multi/scammers ect

I want to add that paypal can be more safe if:

Make sure the other one send it as gift (You can see it if the payment has no fees for you, except you have to change it in another kind of money like euro in dollars)

In this case paypal is kind of safe

The user can not chargeback it

The only reason why it could be removed from your paypal is if the paypal was scammed

But in most cases the users just chargeback it

I always traded with giftsending, never had a problem with it so far

ah ok thanks for the added info on paypal didn't know that was a option withen it

though a while back there was a swedish user that kept multiing and scamming paypals off people

but that way should make it semi safe

If the paypal accounts are scammed, your fucked anyway

Also kind of sure payment threads in europe is paysafecard (paysafecard.com)

For international trades I suggest using pokerstars money

But most people just have paypal and so its the easiest and fastest way

I would agree with you: Whenever you don´t have to use paypal - don´t do it
