eh? the way religion works is the exact opposite of how science works
in a religion people are made to accept that when someone else (namely the church) tells you how something is, you accept that as fact based on faith and without questioning the validity of it, even if the claim seems improbably or extraordinary from an objective standpoint
in a science people look at each claim (or theory) that comes up and closely analyze them based on their observations and experiments. claims that do not make sense are discarded and new ones proposed
dont get me wrong - i'm not saying that religion is not valid or that science is superior to religion, nor even that the things taught by both of these two cannot both be true perfectly fine. it's just that religion is totally different from science in pretty much every single way and i find it rather odd that you would chose a science forum to talk about it
