Anyone got tips on how to become a better surfer on cs. Talking about 1.6 not source. cool

Dude watch some strafe and longjump tutorials. You gotta learn how to strafe and longjump. Bhop too. The best map is surf_ski_2 (i think that was the map). I've played like a fifteen times and i'm not that good but a friend of mine was pretty good and told me about learning how to longjump, bhop and strafe. Good Luck!

Best map for learning to surf is Surf_water_run
that is where i started to learn to surf.

Now I am a surf god and run my own server. briggrin

I always just jumped off the platform and press up and jumped when coming close to the edge of the slides, and pressed the opposite key of the edges. I don't know if this information will help you at all though.
