In-person trades (FG vs. $)

Hey guys,

Looking for some feedback here. Has anyone ever met another person to conduct a trade like this? Just hoping to get some ideas on how to work this out or precautions to be taken.

I'm thinking this would be better for two people who want to perform a smooth trade, kind of like a Craigslist transaction. But maybe I'm missing something here.

Also, just out of curiosity... do people still play D2? I played that 4 years ago and it was still pretty popular at the time. I built up a big sum of FG and quit suddenly when going to college, never thinking to trade off my FG... haha any thoughts on above question or info on this one here? I'd appreciate it.

Would make sense but chances of finding someone somewhat close to you who actually uses jsp is slim. It's even slimmer to find someone close to you who sells fg.

Just think jsp has 3k active users at any given time and that's all around the world.. What are the chances of finding someone on say a 100 mile radius of you of such a slim market

I just have to share i have met someone on d2jsp that lives in the same town as me. Its a collage town so i guess odds of a d2 nerd are higher.. but he played LOD and im strictly a classic player.. he also didn't smoke bud.. so we never really talked much.. so yeah.. wish he would have scammed me.. sweet revenge!!!lol

Ive actually been doing some real life trades with a guy from d2jsp aswel.
I bought some d3 gold some month after launch. Really cool guy. He didnt smoke the bud either but it didnt matter, at the time i felt ive met a trusted trader smile

Odds of this happening is slim to none. Also it feels weird for me to meet someone in person from jsp. I don't know... just weird. Awkward.
