When receiving a PayPal payment, why do people ask for the account to be verified? What's wrong with unverified accounts?

I think there is a way for the PayPal user to take their money back if it was unverified. That's my understanding, anyway, but I'm not sure.

unverified accounts is just as it says..."unverified" meaning paypal cant determine if the info you put is real so you can EASILY scam whereas verified paypals have a tougher time doing so, most of the time they probably wont scam

It doesn't matter if you're verified or not. Anyone can be verified and scam still, it happens.

Stick to using Moneybookers/Money Order/Western Union.

yes if u accept as gift payment only it cannot be charged back...
think there is a small fee for gifts they would have to pay though
and un-verfied is not safer, verfied is safer cause they have personal bank
account established on the paypal to get verfied...more info goes into this
making it harder for a scammer to have all this info but not making it 100% safe
so ya gift is your best bet..

set up your d3jsp paypal on a prepaid card with a false name and send all the $ to your real account incase someone tries a chargeback.

unverfied or verifyed and gifted or not gifted it can all be charged back paypal trades can only be made with people you trust as the person sending the paypal funds can easily scam

or even wait days before finishing there scam its best not to use the piece of shit that is paypal
