Well i'll share u my strategy.
I dislike botting, cuz u can easy get banned 
So i just trade, i'm always on upside buy cheap, sell expensive, there's always a buyer in battle.net
I started yesterday to play in europe, 1 guy gave me free pc skiller and shako, i bought hoto and soj from here, and right now i got 15 ists, shako with facet 5-4, skullders, occu, sorc torch 15-16, many puls and ums and cta 1.
For actually 4-5 hours playing i became richer than half of the bnet players, who played week or more
The deal in that is, to search cheapy offers in random games and then join games like Trade , Trade1, Trade2, T R A D E and etc or just create a game and wait for offer

| Yeah that's a pretty good strategy, but it takes a pretty long time for people to get rich off of that type of method, and what happens if you don't get started with anything that all? Then you have to go find something for your self. |

Well i do 2 different things when i have nothing :
1st is, that there is atleast 2-3 times per hour, that some1 needs very much smthing low and gives a higher of it, so u can begin ur trade expedition with that
The second one is, when u grab all low runes to Fal and go them x2 or x3 and make a game Free Dupe runes, they'll give u some low runes to try and they believe u, u can get smthing big
I got once a ber and ohm with that, but that was on 1.12a

Well in bnet (ingame) everyone try to scamm you, atleast the most of them, so why should i be different ?

Well i'm getting richer and richer..
My status now is :
1 ber, soso t 15-20 , perf coh 15 ed dusk, nightwing 13, df 27, anni 11-16-6, 8 ists, 1 vex and 1 Lo rune.
Oh and 1 arach 119 and 1 114 ;d

When I started with d2 and d2jsp in 2007 my strategy started by selling pgems, I got items with pgems, shakos/tals you could buy everything with pgems, back when there were normaln games, and not only stupid baal runs with bots...
THe best way to make mass fg is by selling annis, I use to buy unid and sell identified. Made like 5k+fg that way(although I got a magic touch in iding them )

I got rich (years ago) stemming from one single pub trade.
Guy was offering ZOD and verdungo belt for a MAL. I jumped on this as soon as I saw the game and was the first one to join and made the trade. Turned out that the Dungo Belt was 100% perfect. Eventually I got involved in trading sites. I made many deals on the old BNET TRADER FORUMS and made some nice connections including the guy who started d2legit and some other online stores. Eventually I found d2jsp and really started making profit. A buddy of mine turned me on to a dupe method and we started making thousands of fg per week. When I reached the 20k fg mark I started Hands of Divinity. At its peak HoD had 420 members as well as 90 pending members. We could have had 600-700 members if we had chose not to stop accepting new members after the 420 mark. (100fg entry fee each = 42k fg)
I was also lucky enough to recieve about 50k d2jsp in donations which shows how generous my guild mates all were. All this time I was pretty much still duping or selling for dupers making fg. One ladder season I had over 30 accounts of items/runes.
Currently I have 15 accounts full of nice stuff and 12 playable characters with godly gear that I dont neccesarily include on my FT Lists.
When the ladder season ends I usually just give the accounts to a buddy and let them keep 50% of whatever fg he can make selling the gear.
The moral of this story is that it only takes ONE nice trade to become rich if you really want to.

Or you can just make friends with really rich people and mooch off them? It's what I did back on 1.09 and early / late 1.11b

Well i prefer making them alone...
Also i think, if you don't have time to play, you just won't play, because botting sux = bannable + losing the fun
