| What does a mount do? I bought a centaur with 10 gems, because thats all I could afford, does it just give me fights or does it add bonuses? |

A "buff" is displayed while you fight. For example the "The precence of your Snow Lion empowers you" message the snow lion does.
The buff is also displayed with green numbers next to your att and def.
