so i just found out that you have to have 42 def in order to wear void and so im getting my def and prayer up to wear void  lol i went and got 250 points to get the armor but i didnt know that you had to have 42 def and 22 prayer lol so now im making a void pure

Lol, not really, been around since 2004, something..
It's a set of armour that you can buy from a minigame called pest controll at the void knights outpost.
Full set with melee helm gives 10% attack and strenght bonus
Full set with ranged helm gives 10% more ranged bonus
Full set with mage helm gives 30% more accuarcy to spells
Full set can be brough by pest point which is given to you when u succesfully complete a pest controll round, and they consists of:
Void knight top
Void knight robe
Void knight gloves
And a helm of your choise
Void knight melee helm
Void knight ranged helm
And void knight mage helm
As of experiance, Id say both melee set and the ranged set is good, used right, since it gives no epic def bonuses, but the mage set is, well, not really worth the work for it..
To wear it, u need 42 attack, strenght, defence, hitpoints, ranged, mage and 22 prayer,
Alsol note, this is members only..
Is this a good answear?

WHAT THE!!! you guys are crazy!!! using ultra items like these....
all i do is try to get full rune lol... though i have not played runescape for quite a while now...

They are really not ultra, theres armours thats way better like Bandos, Armadyl, or any of the Barrows armour set. Oh wait, theres even beter armour now, Statius, Vesta, Zuriel and Morrigan..
Ultra is more a question a view i suppose..

yeah but bandos and armidyl dont let you hit higher if you have full void you can hit higher that what you could normaly hit with any armor thats why its good the only thing that sucks is it takes 16 hours to get get so if you die you are virtualy screwed. lol but its good armor as long as you dont die.

Bandos don't let you hit higher, not really true, but just slightly higher (since, the hit is calculatet by two things, strenght level and strenght bonus, and when wearing void, the 10%+.. Full bandos armour gives like 6+ strenght bonus.. And most of the strenght bonus lies in the weapon..) But, it has way higher defence bonuses, which is somethimes more preferable. True that Armadyl doesnt make you hit higher, but, more accurate, since, it gives way higher ranged attack bonus then void, alsol nicer def bonus, which can be usefull sometimes..
Personally, I only use void when im training, when i don't need def bonuses.. Alsol, void is good combined with prayer, when fighting monsters that don't hit through prayer, or like when metal dragon hunting. God wars i'd not recomend not using void..
But, losing a piece of bandos or armadyl armour is mayby worse (for me, al least), since well, calculates on my average income per hour when making money on rs, i make around 300k-600k an hour, well, that is roughly 4.8m-9.6m in 16 hour, and full bandos is currently 18.5m, and full armadyl is 21.5m.. What you lose depend on what you bring too, it's same with void.. Something..

Then go pking.... bc ftp pures are all str-based.

Yea, damn, oh wait i got way over 59 mage and 40 rang..
Hmm, strenght based pk is good, but im not pure, either, and i suck big time at pk, im training up rang for gwd, corporeal beast and/or something similar..

yeah im trying to get high strength myself for non member pk. because really range and mage do nothing for non member unless your like really low lvls then 59 mage or something would be a good thing.

Yea, thx, I heard, my friends been there, they promised take me there as fast i get membership again.. Need a slight more def first tho, and some more Qp's.. Hmm.. Nice drops tho, best non rare drop in rs..

yeah i wish you could at least use a yew bow in non memb or something or better arrows at least to help range stay comppetitive lol but yeah corpreal beast is insane lol i would boost your def as high as you possibly can before going. and the drops are awesome just depends on how many people you have to share it with.
