| there are some really good games that i have some great ideas for but just cant get around it when its locked. |

i know how to get around, but i wont give any help to you. if a map is locked, then you should respect the authors wishes and not try to unlock it

I know alsol some ways around. But I say, if I made a map I of course don't wan't anyone to steal my credit or change it anything, and I think thats why peoples lock maps. You should respect it..

I use a different mindset for protected maps. When newbs open maps 90% of them just want to learn triggering, the other 10 percent change stuff around to give themselves credit. You can fix that however. Just spread the map around alot, AFK on it or somethings. But to answer your question drew. I will copy what i posted in another post.
"If you are trying to open a protected map, the editor will give you an error. This map, in order to enter, needs to be unProtected. In this case, most people would run off to use OSMAP v.2 (Open Source Mapping Project). It is the most popular map unprotector created by Clan unKnown, or just Clan (U). Although it is the most popular, its capabilities are disappointing (every 1/10 maps would fail to unprotect), and Clan (U) has ended that sequence and put out another even better unprotector, the Unused_Unprotector_2. For More information about OSMAP and Unused_Unprotector_2, Click here."
