But i bought some and google'd them.

He take key from

He just take random cd-keys from there and send them to you. Chance of getting a clean one is 0%

I use to sell d2 cd keys in bulk, but got upset when a few would pm me back months later to say it don't work/muted/ban etc. So I quit selling them.

there is no such thing as a d2 cdkey gen (well ofc you can generate random cdkey of the correct length) but there is no set algorithm
all cdkeys are validated via server database thus any cdkey you generate has almost 0 chance of working
i thought this was commonly known
