The most life you can get out of a Mage Plate is 80 3os. (Artisan's/Jeweler's Mage Plate of the Squid)
This has the FHR bonus and massive defense compared to the A/J MPoS, and fits the Mid Level range...100's probably not too bad of a guess, thanks.
is nice but here is the question..
would a 74 str req lvl 49 Dusk with 4 soc be better..
would just need to make up for fhr+58 life
im afraid the benefits of 2 more sockets depending on char type and build would be significant..
but i dunno..
