Trade Rules:
1. You may trade for anything, real life items, Diablo 2 items, whatever else is fine as long as you are trading for anything besides d3jsp fg.
2. Do not early bump. Wait 2 hours.
3. If your thread is closed, wait 1 hour before reposting it.
4. Do not steal trades.
5. Do not make fake offers.
6. You trade at your own risk, anything being sold or bought is completely at your own risk
7. Anyone caught repeatedly selling unperm item as perms will be banned
8. You may not have more than 4 threads anytime on the first page of any trading forum. Extra threads will be closed and you may be warned.

Members++ Is Not A Trusted Rank Here On D3jsp
Definition of Members ++
1. Members ++ is a normal usergroup that can be purchased at the cost of 2,500 d3jsp forum gold.
2. Members ++ is in no way an indication of status nor trustworthiness. Any Members ++ found to claim they are trusted users due to their Members ++ tag should be referred to a Senior Moderator with proof.
3. Members ++ enjoy no special privileges aside from reduced flood controls.
4. MEMBERS ++ ARE NOT TRUSTED USERS NOR MODERATORS.

How can moderator help you?
-Teamviewer , i can go onto teamviewer ( or Gotomeeting if any of you oldies use that still ) and check to make sure your buyer or seller has what they say they have.
-Tips , i know some safe ways to do trades when it comes to $$ vs FG or whatever may be the case. as im not aloud 2 Med trades when it comes to $$ vs FG i can still give tips on what i think is the best choice for you not to get scammed.I CAN HOLD FG WHILE THE PERSON SENDS THE $$
Teamviewer , for thoughs who dont know what it is. Teamviewer is Program that allows me to see your computer screen and if you allow me i can take control of your mouse + keyboard to check or help you out with certain things. for the purpose of me going on teamviewer i will be just looking at what i need to look at to confirm this is your buyer's or seller's account and ether has FG on it or whatever is your trading.
How to Download and Operate Teamviewer ( Teamviewer is free )
Step 1: Goto www.teamviewer.com
Step 2: Click Download
Step 3: Select your operating system ( Mac , Windows , ETC )
Step 4: Download the all-in Package should be at the very top
Step 5: Install
How to Operate Teamviewer
When me or another mod is going to go on teamviewer with you will have to Give them your ID and Password so they can connect to you and then me or the Mod will check what needs to be checked.
Moderators do not mediate any trades in Selling and trading section
[Due to some complications mediators will not be used for these trades. If you would like a staff member to watch over these trades via Teamviewer than please PM any staff that are online.
We do not support trading accounts or FG from other sites.
We will not be responsible for trades of any kind, it is completely at your own risk.
(However if you scam for these we still reserve the right to ban you)

To the users who frequent the Selling and Trading sub-forum,
This is a message from D3jsp Staff, we would like to put some worries at ease and assure you we are doing all that we can to keep you safe from scammers.
It's no doubt the majority of this sub-forum is used for selling and trading certain assets that can get users in deep trouble. Every staff member is also aware of your dangers when you make these trades.
We cannot offer full protection, nor can we guarantee your value back. We can guarantee these things:
• A full investigation of a scam
• Near-twenty-four hour contact with any user, and if no staff member is available, your question will be answered with expedience as soon as one of us logs in.
• An I.P. background scan of any user to search for any shady activity (No information will be given to the user who requests the I.P. scan for privacy matters, but they will be told if any-thing is found, and will be told how it will be handled).

PAYPAL SCAMMER ALERT
For any users who trade with paypal, please be on the lookout for users using a swedish paypal, there is a scammer afoot hacking into swedish paypals, and if you do business with a swedish paypal there is a great chance you will be scammed.
BEFORE YOU TRADE: SCAMMER KEYWORDS TO LOOK OUT FOR
Some users are banned from here after scamming; please look out for these keywords, which could be on e-mails, account names, and other identifications. Most or all of the keywords are trader-submitted.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH PAYPAL
Here i´ll explain my experience with paypal, because at the moment many people asked questions about paypal.
Remember this is just my experience that I made,I dont know if its the same everytime.
I sold some D2 items via paypal to a user, 2 or 3 weeks later he recharged his money from my paypal bankroll.
After that I wrote an email to paypal and explained them :
-That I sold him items from a game over a forum
-That I can provide that he recived the items
+ If they want I can send them many screenshots from the trade
3 days later i got the money back.
So fact about paypal is:
U can recharge the money a month ( or months dunno) later, so be careful!!
If someone recharg his money and try to scam u this way, contact paypal and show them all proof u have, that u gave him his stuff.

How to avoid getting scammed - Please take your time to read
I have seen more and more people getting scammed way to easy, so I thought I would make this simple ''guide'' to let you know what to do and what not to do in different situations - which hopefully might keep you away from geting scammed.
First off, if you are planning to do what we call ''illegal'' trades, such as Money for fg trades that are not allowed, you should be aware that there is a bigger chance of getting scammed, then if you would trade in the trading section (D2 items vs D3jsp fg)
Also, if you were scammed, do not spam the trading & selling section! Report it in the Scammer Accusations.
Some guidelines to start off with. This is mostly from my own experience during the years that I have been online, mixed with my time here on D3jsp. Please, take your time to read this as this is valuable information.
Do not trade with Locked/Scammer tagged users!
The tag speaks for itself. The user either made multiple accounts, or scammed to get this. The moderators around here are fairly quick on reacting to this kind of violation of the forum. If you see a user locked, they most likely deserved it. Do not fall for the common cheap-talk 'oh im getting unlocked in a few'. Avoid trading until the user is unlocked/ has got his/her tag removed. Sometimes, new users tend to make accounts where 'hotspots' are. This means that the IP is hot, as in 'could be a multi' like, and will get automatically locked when account created. Avoid trading in large amounts.
This goes for pretty much every trade you are doing. D3jsp is a small community, which attracts many scammers. To trade safe you should always trade in small increiments to avoid getting scammed. You'd rather want to trade unsafe with 10$ and then get ripped off rather than trading unsafe with 100$ and loose everything in one trade. After all, trading in this section is at your own risk, but ofcourse - our staff is doing everything in their power to prevent scams.

This basically means, trade safe. If you suspect anything, its problably what you think it is. Take the safe way infront of the unsafe way. There's almost always a Moderator online, or someone from the Staff. The Staff can only mediate D3Jsp Forum Gold at the moment, any other trade as Real Life items, or Paypal $ cannot and will not be mediated.
Reputation scams
I have been here only a few weeks, but I have seen alot of this taking place. A reputation scam is basically a user frequently talking about his reputation, saying you need to send big amounts because his/hers reputation is ''trustworthy''. Remember - Reputation means nothing! There are many people making multiple accounts just to give themselves a reputation. There has also been several cases of users PMing other users asking for the so called 'rep vs rep', which means - when you ask someone for a reputation in exchange of your reputation been given to him. Do not fall for this - only reputate a user when you have traded with him/her, or if you he/her helped you in any kind of way. If you make a false reputation, in worst case scenario, the scammer can take benefit from this and use this as a way of making new users belive that the user is trusted enough to be sent large amounts to upfront.
Users with Member++ tag are not from the Staff!
There has been cases in which some users belive that other users with the ''Members++''tag are trusted enough to be sent upfront to in large amounts. This is not the case! Members++ Tag can be purchased for 2.500 D3jsp Forum Gold and has nothing to do with trust whatsoever. The only privilege you get from purchasing a Member++ tag is the No Flood Control function, which makes you able to post how many post you want without the automatic cooldown you get from posting more then 1 post each 30 seconds.
Paypal chargebacks and Paypal trades in general
Paypal is a common tool for trading in the Trading and Selling section. There are some things you should be aware of though, before you start trading with Paypal.
Chargebacks is a common and very easy way of scamming. This basically means that the one you just recieved Paypal $$ from now demands the money back. If this happen, immediatly screen shot it and upload it, and send it to one of the Staff members, or post it in the Scammer Accusations.
There is also a hacker our there who calls himself PHPMannen, who hijacks and steals PayPal accounts with unknown tools. Be on the lookout for users with a Swedish Paypal in general, and you should be fine.
