I currently have a car I owe about $4,000 on it. Value on it is worth between 4,500 - 5,000

I am getting married in June. We only have 1 car but she is saving 100 a month plus this coming tax return for a car for herself.

my question is:

I am going to sell my car without a doubt. My question is do I take the say $5,000 and buy a different car for $5,000 or do I buy 2 cars for like $2,500 each or do I just buy the car I feel like I want like a truck I found for 2,000 - 3,000 and put the extra towards like the wedding or paying off some of the debt or whatever I see fit.

Choice 1 - sell and buy a car for same price of 5,000
Choice 2 - sell and buy 2 cars for a total of 5,000
Choice 3 - let girlfriend buy her own car, and use the 5,000 to buy what i want and do with the extra $ as see fit

I thought it was going to say..
What would you do for a Klondike bar in this topic sad

When you sell your car, you should buy the truck you want, save some of that money if you are paying for your wedding without parents help/pay a little towards debt and you can help your girl out all at once.
Ez duz it.

i was just now looking at motorcycles. what i would really like to do is list our car for sale. sell it. and borrow her mom's car cause they don't need two cards. then buy a car for my girl. and buy me a motorcycle. and the money left over along with the money she is saving up use for the wedding. now that would be cool to get a motorcycle. but with a girlfriend who won't let you live dangeriously and parents who worry too much... dang!

so what I am thinking is selling our car and buying 2 cars, 1 for her and 1 for me. then take anything left over, put with her savings, along with her tax refund and pay for our wedding. ya her parents will not help with the wedding and i refuse to ask my parents for another dime.
