Do not buy Diablo 2 accounts, people can EASILY recover accounts even if the email address as been changed. What you do is do a password recovery request to the email right before you change the email address. As long as the person never clicked the "change password" link in their email, even after that email was changed, the link is still active. Diablo 2 account trading is useless. Only good for items.

yes this is known as "double regging" (double registering)

Person makes a gg diablo acct
requests password recovery email to be sent to his email address
lets the acct expire (90 days)
waits for someone to create the acct and put items on it
go to email account and respond to the password recovery email from blizzard
new password sent to their email address and you lost your account

thought everyone knew about this already lol
