Probably often asked, obvious question 
Did you loose Fg or did you make profit?
Is it better to wait for reset if I deceide to start playing?

yes, i for myself got atleast 40fg per dragonkill
depending on rushing to level 15, or just slumming all the time
just start playing with a dwarf and dark arts, his special is to get more gold from fights^^

make a char and go to the forest -> Look for something to kill
for the getting gold, from level 2 and above use go slumming
always try to get the best gear (armor / weapon shop under the "-Ancient Treasure-" in the town) and after that you can concentrate on getting gold
kill till you're out of turns and always store your gold in the bank so you get some interest (you wont get your interest if you arent out of turns)

i personally atm break even or lose fg... mainly because im moving a bit slow.. the trick is to level up two characters. one you dk like 2-3 times.. one you dk a ton of times. the 2-3 dk one you can transfer gold and items to your main dker... i didnt realize this in the beginning so i was converting all of my extra gold to fg and in the transfer back from that i was losing ALOT of money.
As long as you play smart you will make profit... play stupid like myself and you will lose fg lol

Right now the rates are:
LOGD -> fg rate is 800:1
fg -> LOGD rate is 1:120.
Which means, for 800 legend of the green dragon gold you get 1 Forum Gold
and for 1 forum gold you get 120 Legend of the green dragon gold.
At lvl one you make like 10-20 LOGD gold per battle if i remember correctly... around like lvl 15 you make 200-500 per battle (cant remember exact numbers)
So honestly, once you get to lvl 15 if you just chill and do a couple "new days" and exchange for LOGD gold you can make like a couple hundred forum gold.

but you can make arround 100-200fg per day easilly with the new beta game
