Ok, so i have a Spartan laptop, it doesnt have any other information then that, the laptop was owned by a gentleman who recently passed away, he gave it to someone else who wiped the harddrive and installed an illegal version of windows, then he filled it with viruses and worms and all kinds of crap. So finally it gets given to me, i re- reformat it install windows xp professional(bought it forever ago but i prefer media). now it uses a realtek 97'AC audio drivers, and basic wireless network drivers, those i have. i also have basic directx installed, its a decent laptop but i just cannot find the correct drivers and i dont know enough about computers to open up this laptop to see what the brand of cards are. but i can guarantee that the computer is stock, it has no replaced parts.

given this information can anyone find me the video drivers, a copy of direct x (working). if someone could do this for me i would be FOREVER greatful.

If you research the computer's make and model (Dell XPS is an example) then you can find out where the drivers are.

there are no identifiable numbers or codes on the outside, i can see where there used to be stickers but they are gone. and the entire case except for the exhaust slots is smooth.

when it kicks to pre bios (idk if thats correct but when its listing crap on a black screen) and on that screen is just simple writing Spartan(c) then asks which windows i want to run, professional, or professional safe. then it takes me to the microsoft windows xp professional loading screen
