ok, so it's been a while since i last posted, but i thought i should come and share my thoughts on something thats been on my mind of late: duping

on an average, i spend about 4-5 hours meph'ing each day clicking furiously, and working my ass off ... for what?? basically, to get items and do business with dupers

im just curious, what percentage of the d2 community dupes?? i have no doubt those advertisers are dupers (they essentially sell their duped runes and trade for legit items on d2, hence their "shop")

i feel like im wasting my time mephing so much if this game is about duping and trading duped runes for items .. is this how the game is played now?? hell, i should have searched for a duping program on google and started up d2 that way!!

ok, so this turned out to be more of a rant if anything, but i guess ill close with these questions: whats your view on duping?? are you for/against it or dont care??

I think duping ruins the game but since I don't buy random items in pub games anymore (thank you d2jsp) I rarely come across them. But it still ruins the game economy. dry

And as of now I only have 8 unperms remaining (8x 32020s) because I finally poofed my rune slippers and bitter broughes. briggrin

So it's only a matter of time until I'm fully legit again.

Yeah d3jsp, and d2jsp are very good ways to trade and stuff, for legit items.

Duping is extremely gay if u ask me, just makes me wanna stop playing when a "perm/legit" item poofs on me, dtrades is also a good site to trade for items.

I'm actually glad that dupes exist...mainly because it keeps the economy down. I play legit, I mean I do use mm.bot onoccasion but I MF my self most of the time. I have never been extremely wealthy in D2, so if it wasn't for duping and other people botting to keep supply up I wouldn't be able to afford anything. I have never had any item poof on me, luck or just a smart way to deal with trading. I never deal with any complete item that is prone to being duped, and when it comes to runes I never buy them unless I am socketing them immediately.

I will never dupe, but I am glad that other people do.

ok yes poofable items are gay but what about the 100s of permed itemswe get out of the dupes like perm btals 08 valks ect thos are goo items so ppl wuld have to find some other was to spend all there fg thay just got off he duped pcomb lifers ect
