a secret way to find free 10k to for all new characters
you can find the 10k by getting in you the barbarian village beside varrock kingdom and enter the strong hold of security and just run though the entire maze and get to each waypoint and collect and coins.

and plus at the end you get a choose of colored boots or combat boots!!!
try not to die remember to carry lots of food if your hp is below 30...
that what i do for every one of my new characters a great way to start you character with some money!!! tongue

Its helpfull when your lvl 3 but thats about it and its inpossible to do without dieing even if u have full Pack of food unless a higher lvl runs you through it

money is freaking easy to do , Cut tree sell it , buy food level your combat , be a member kill green dragons , get hide and bones and sell bones for 2.7k each at grand exchange

i have my own newb character who could use the money but do the monsters attack you?? i have been threw this once but it was on my lvl 91 so i didnt have a problem. but idk if my lvl 34 can go threw without getting attacked by the all the NPC's.

anyway... yes they do attack you... i have tried to get level 3s down there and grap he money and run...
it worked for me since i am used to the controls and pretty much memorized the maps...
