Found any bugs? Have any suggestions?
Post 'em up here and make the site a better place for everone!

However, as with all forums, a few ground rules first:

-- Make your suggestion should be geared towards helping the entire site community, not just yourself!
-- Make sure your post is on topic (i.e. a real bug or suggestion, not just spam)
-- Read through previous site bug reports/suggestions to make sure someone else hasn't already posted the same thing. If they have, post in their thread (if it's still open) with your own input.
-- Be sure your suggestion is reasonable (i.e. is feasible to implement and will not have any adverse side effects).

To be sure your suggestion will recieve the attention it deserves, be sure to take into consideration the following aspects of a good site suggestion/bug report. A good site suggestion/bug report will:

-- Include as many details as possible.
-- Be in clear, understandable English, making use of proper spelling and grammar.
-- Show examples of situations where the suggestion wil be beneficial/effective.
-- Include screenshots/pictures if at all possible.

Thanks,
The d3jsp Staff Team

Now I never read them before, and don't even know if they were there yesterday.

But I have a question, and felt this was the best venue to ask it considering our Senior Mod surfs the spam forum so much.

If these rules apply to the person making the suggestion, are they going to apply to anyone replying to the initial post and so on? I think that's only fair. If you want to keep your established order here, fine, but don't unlevel the playing field here. That's injustice straight up.

EDIT: Forgot something.
The last time I made a suggestion, I was met with non-stop idiotic posts. Horrible grammar that at times I could never make out, and had to spend 2 minutes contexting. Had td;lr's. These rules better apply to everyone. I spend a great deal of time editing my errors before I post, and actually take the time to do so after I post. It's plain disrespectful for someone to come in, say td;lr then make up their own comments about what I say.

if people are spamming your thread hit the report post button

and yes the rules are for everyone. replies giving feedback for the suggetion are allowed (and encouraged) as well, though they should be in the same thread as the suggestion.

if actually had a serious question you could have just pm'd a moderator
looking to the battlefield for information is like going to uncyclopedia or enclycopedia dramatica for your term paper

Why? So they can get verbally warned for rules they already know about?

You saw what FagNut44 did in my suggestion thread. I followed every one of you rules up there and then some. And all he did was spout off ignorant comments and couldn't even take the time to use as you say, "proper grammar and spelling."

EDIT: Reply to your edit: Pm's often get deleted. Posts do not. I'm not going to keep a pm I got from you about your edict from 4 months prior when I can look it up in a subforum and save room.

You posted in that thread. But, is Ex Post Facto in play on this site? If not then I should be able to report all his posts in that thread, and you will follow through afterwards with whatever actions deemed necessary correct?

well considering that
1) those threads were made before i made the forum rules it would be rather boorish of me to go back and warn them
2) there was real power abuse afood and there was a real issue at hand that needed to be resolved
its not going to happen this time. but in the future if people are found spamming outside the battlefloor they will be taken care of

generally site policy is verbal for first offense and warning/bannings for repeat offenders

I guess Parasola was right.. People don't read what I say. I said early on in this thread that I never noticed if there were rules or not in that forum.
Also, Ex Post Facto is Latin for "After the fact." It's a constitutional ammendment to protect people from laws that are made after they commit a crime. Basically, if theres no precident for it, you can't be punished for it. /enter why I had to ask if it was in play or not here.

Either way. Thanks for the info.
