I think I'm on a new internet connection, so I made a new account.

How long should I wait before it's safe? At least safe for a while

Or is there no such thing as safe

No it's a different IP but same computer.

I've had an account for a while once and randomly one day I logged on and it was disabled along with 8k of my fg.

Just wondering how long until an account is "safe" if any time

Making a new account is illegal no matter the circumstances. There is no time safety time frame.
