can't...
we had that before...
it didn't work out...
since when ever someone pissed of another... they just unrep them...
plus you can make random stupid reps to people and cause the same problem...
such as lower someone's rep with the message "scammer" when they didn't do anything at all lol
unless your talking about a button that removes a rep... the admin can already do that... but if anyone can do that... whats the point?
though i wonder if mods can do that... hmm...

I like the idea but the comments give a forewarning. Like if someone is a slow trader or something you can see that. But the star system is a good idea, based on a scale of 1-5 only the most trustworthy people would get the perfect 5 score( minus low count). All in all good idea

What about if along with the star rating, you had a drop down list of comments you could choose from like "smooth trade" "good guy" "rude"
etc etc

Yeah, but either way.. there will be people that don't like each other and it will mess it up.

Thats an awful lot like the system we have now but instead of thumbs we would have stars. if any changes are to be made to the rep system i wouldnt mind a thumbs down that would subtract. Or mods having the ability to remove "fake" comments. But, mods would have to not be allowed to change their own comments..... Idk like i said i like the star system idea but i dont see it being changed too soon.
Maybe if the star system was implemented as a test at first alongside the rep. Then if it works better than the rep then it could be replaced. The best bet would be to find the code for it or make it and send it to tramway. That way it takes all the extra coding away from his shoulders. i mean the rep system atleast works to a certain extent as it is. if i was him and had to recode something new even though the one i already had worked i would be slightly irritated.
I would say if someone would show me or explain to me exactly how it the current system works in detail. i would be willing to collaborate to HELP with the code

You are not suppose to leave reps that say a person is a scammer. You are suppose to post it in S/A with proof.
That way he gets a scammer tag and everyone can easily see that he is indeed a scammer.
