I skimboard on the UST ( united states tour ) and travel alot...
Thought i would just make a Picture of the Day thread and see how long i can keep it active.
Donate D3JSP FG!!! if you like my shots. or comment on any pics.
All photos are of me unless otherwise noted.
If i miss a few days, i'll make it up with a sequence or extra photos.
Lets start off with me in california last year during the Victoria World Championships of skimboarding.
This is from LaJolla in Sandiego the beach is Wind N Sea

This is me on a 5shot sequence, i edited it to 5, it was origianlly 9, oh well.

Well it's kind of similiar, except im skimming it's the half pipe is coming straight at you and curling over, ahaha, turning is a bit more difficult along with manuvers back into the line, but timing/balance similiarities apply for both sports.

I said i was going to slack off for a couple days, But since The WaterBoyz competition is tomorrow at my favorite break on the gulf ( Navarre Beach ) i figured i would post a couple shots from there.

I just love the whole view aspect and the coloration around the pier is sick, not to mention im perfectly slotted on that little wave =)
Alright this photo here is old school, i forgot who took the shop, i think it was Sean from the waterboyz team, this is the old school NAvarre beach line up, Corey, Jaden, couple other locals, Myself on the end waiting for the biggest sets 12/24/08 is photo date, i believe i caught my first true IN and OUT barrel this day, I rode a 3ft sider wave into a 7ft peak carved in and rode back the line popped the barrel with my hands on my head and an "OMG" look on my face with everyone on the beach going nuts. It's crazy how you remember 12 seconds so vividly for so long lol. ( kind of like half of d2jsp users sex lives, oh shit i just snapped ) I'm a blogger i guess, what i can say, Anyway here's your god damn photo nerds! ^^
THROWIN UP MY SET REPRESENTIN THE EAST SIDE @ MY LOCAL BEACH BABY~~~ ( i hope gang signs are allowed on this site )

Me and Corbin Fuckin Dull ( Zap's front man pro rider ) chillin at the judges tent with Dave Scott aka Monster on the right~~( another zap pro rider )
Derek Makekau ( owner of foreverskim.com ) Myself and Quinton Good (professional skimboarder who rides for apex)
So the contest went horrible at first, i caught cramps and head aches in my first heat, i had 3 perfect scores, only caught 5 waves because i was in pain and had to push myself to my limits.
Got eliminated first round this time ( shit happens ) Least i got enough balls to compete.
Anyways, after that i yak'd in a bag and got to feeling better / skimmed all day with derek / austin / corbin / quinton waves were actually nice. I might throw some shots up later of them ^^

Drew Fusco Shreddin' x2 of him ( he was killing it, we both caught back to back barrels )

haha, yeah bro shit happens, it's totally cool. i was sick from drinking the night before and eating a bunch of codeine pre contest ( not a good idea ) had to puke in corbin's food bag rofl.
after i puked the shit out of my system we had a great day though =)
honestly, it's not about placing, it's just about supporting your sport and doing your best, although if i caught 2 more waves i would've advanced. Colvin would've beaten me in the finals anyway, he was destroying it. + my 12second liner to backside air drop in front the judges stand was pretty impressive(got me some free shit  )
e: + your comment about the virgins around here, hell if they were out there for an hour yesterday they'd probably have to be hospitalized for sun poisoning and be as red as a fucking lobster.
( You inside basement grandma's house living boys don't take it personal...actually DO. )
Life is out there, it aint just PC/xBox.
