is there an actual story that actually continues?
will he get back his powers?
i dont read the manga just watch the anime

ive read some of the manga

and i won't do anything that gives any spoilers away ill just leave it at this

yes the story continues

edit: however i did stop recently watching the anime for like the past month or two due to some horrible filler crape they put up which is probably there due to the anime being to close to the manga

I'm calling the new arc the Chad arc where Ichigo learns to pull some kind of power out of his ass without going spirit. With the end goal of getting his powers back and beating some random guy.

Hidden: 

Ichigo meets a guy and he trains to become a Fullbringer using some strage energy inside him.... then he get's his shinigamy powers back and now he's stronger than before with both his shinigami AND fullbringer powers.... the guy that teached him how to controll those new powers did it because after he completed the training he could kill him and get his fullbringer powers for himself since he was the first substitute shinigami just like ichigo is now... too bad that his plans went wrong and died against ichigo... this is just the fullbring saga but there's more. smile if you want to know more just say so smile. hope it helped.

the final season was meh to be honest. after such a great battle at the end of aizen, i expected more.

even the season with the bounts was better.
