I think you should make it so that all new members need to have Tramway verify their accounts before they can use any FG.This way newbies can't just go around randomly spamming stuff for FG to download starcraft maps _____________________

I think thats a very good idea, maybe verify their emails _____________________ If your gold is locked, please PM a senior moderator. They will be able to unlock you
Why not just add a forum gold password? And make the site not allow the same password as your login one.
because adding the password is no different than freely using your fgs.What i'm suggesting is preventing newbies from spamming random posts to get fgs and then use them immediately to get SC maps _____________________
