Does billzard still moderate and stop hackers?

Depends what game. For Starcraft, they don't moderate it too much. I don't remember if the "anti-hack protection" Warden is still on, but if it is, it just gives you a loss every time.

not anymore, its turned off now somehow. They never banned anyone for hacks in sc as far as I know of

You can still get banned if someone reports you.
Trust me, that happens a lot.

And Warden is always on.

In other words, you're saying hackers will be bant 0.00001% (approximate) of the time. But they still get banned. Barely.

Blizzard is a successful business enterprise. As someone mentioned earlier, SC only costs 3$, and with the new update you don't even need a cd to play it anymore. It will be a complete waste of money for blizzard to moniter for hackers, especially since over 70% of USEast hacks.

Can you get banned from tournaments or private games? Sure you can, but you will never be banned from b.net completely.
