Random micro challenge is probably the best UMS in Starcraft... since its really fun, and not for noobs... also, its not too long unlike some other UMSs...

You are right! Most people are like "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!" when they join. Figures this map is only for skilled players!
I realized that probably 60% of the players are only aiming for simple UMS games due to the lack of strategy and micro.

The only problem with it is that its replay value plummets after you play it 5-10 times. Good at first, but once you figure out how to beat all the levels it just gets boring.

Very true.
I prefer Random Micro Arena, where you are actually against people.
Or I like Random Unit Battle.
But my favorite maps are bound and controls.
A mixture of microing skill, intelligence, and continuous bounding ability (moreso being able to never screw up more than being able to do very hard bounds).

Woah I just realized I haven't played sc in a month. That's crazy!
RMA is my favorite game on SC, and I know all the regulars who host it. What I have noticed a lot was the huge division of skill. There are always noobs who have no idea what to do and always leave, and there are the gods who can kill your whole army with 3 units.

It's difficult to make a game without noobs.
VERY difficult.
I have only accomplished it once.

Just make an account, prove yourself as a pro, and befriend all the regulars. That way you can make private games whenever you want without the fear of a noobish onslaught destroying your game.
