This doesn't happen, people post things like "He's a scammer" or "He tried to scam me"

If that's not what rep is for, please explain to me what the point of even incorporating a rep system is....

everyone has a chance to prove themselves, everyone starts with a clean record in life.
Your reputation often preceeds you but it's also a reference about who you are and any altercations that have happened.

If someone gets a bad rep, they may have something to do with why it's bad.
For every action in life there is a reaction I feel.

I don't understand how one can prove that the rep isn't the truth, like if someone says "blah blah you're a scammer blah" how you would remove that, because what if it's true and it could have prevented a scam? then again waht if it's not true, then that guy has a bad rep forever...for no reason.

Rep is not always the truth and it can be removed, people should not be trused/not trusted based on rep.
People should get good/bad rep for trust/no trust.
The ones that are not trusted usually dont last long here.

If a member is active, then they should trade here without issues as u well know.
If a member is new they should trade with a med or a trusted member.
Trading accounts is never a good idea but when it's a game account it can be mediated easy unlike forums acounts where ip's are logged and there is a posibility for lock and ban.
I don;t live sleep and slumber on this forum but I know who I can and cannot trust.
The members I can't trust are members who post spam alot and get their post count up or members who donate a few bucks to get reputation and use that accouint to scam 10x what they donated.
Members who post flame or bad things on another members account are usually the type who try to draw attantion to the other guy to make themselves look better.
This keyboard is very small it's about 6x9 inches and is very tough to type sleep

I know what you're saying, but when I first started using this site I went by peoples reputation to decide if I wanted to trade with them, because I figured that's what it was for :\

I'm just assuming I can't be the only one who thinks that
