Im debating on wether i should give median xl a try... it seems interesting but is it going to be a stupid game where the player just grinds and grinds to get the extra 21 levels? like whats the pros and cons of it? and would you suggest it?

median xl is fun. and its fairly easy to reach level 120. When I was playing I did it in a single day. I suggest you make a spore shot bow druid for your first char if you decide to play.

where would you suggest it be downloaded from? i seen quite a few but would prefer not to get screwed.

wow, just downloaded it... its crazy cool and hard as hell untill you get used to things.
all new skills, all the old ones are gone, 17 new runes+ special runes. 4 new gems and all gems have been changed. 300+ new uniques and 300+ new sets... this is crazy. new monsters new everything. supports LAN play but not Closed bnet(bnet should just host a version of this though, just to keep things new untill d3) so far, ive died like 3 times in the den in "normal mode" more inventory and the cube is freaking huge....
Won't know exactly how i like it until i can lan it but untill then the preview i got from starting a char is pretty freaking cool.

true, but the way i mean it is... after LOD there hasnt been really any MAJOR changes.... and median is like diablo Lod V2 lol.. it basically added 7 new characters 300+ new runewords and more lol.
And being ive personally been complaining that new characters or new quests would really bring life back to an already very lively game. median did that lol. Granted me and mi amigo, were Laning it.. we almost beat one of the Hard uberquest, the amazon one, at lvl 30. only reason we didnt beat it was pure time issue.. took us 2 hours to almost beat it. lol
