Problem 1:

In which cases signature/avatar bigger then 400x150 (for signature) and 100x100 pixels (for Avatars) should and should not be removed? What makes the difference?
Do you think that should be stated in rule topic (check topic - link at the beggining of post*) ?
Problem 2:

There are a few people using more than 2 Pictures in signatures. What can be done in this case?

I think, they both should be removed. And pictures in signatures should be used with common sense like they have been ever since I got here, and action taken if peoples are complaining. The reason why these rules acctuarly are here is Evilution (I think) had the longcat in his signature ( http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/8348/longcat2dz2.jpg ). So even if we do keep them, then what? They're gonna be enforced for a while, and when changing staff etc, then we'll just come back here where we are now. Also, this disable you to have vertical tags in your signature (not so common, but still). And as far as avatars go, if the rule is 100x100, then why would Tramway enable you to put 120x120 in the avatar controll panel?
The more rules there is, the more rulebreakers there will be.
While on the subject of rules btw, part from my pm to Vitan about this:
This, in my opinion, is a bigger problem then the signature size rules. Another thing, why arn't all rules here? http://www.d3jsp.org/faq.php?mode=rules , can this be more confusing with all rules scattered all over the forum?
Anyway, I dont like too uptight forums, so...

Hmm, how many pornography related items have been locked? Also, as for your ancient post. you left a link in your signature, which in my opinion screams "I am still looking for this i just dont feel like bumping it".
There will always be rule breakers.
There will always be illegal activites
There will always be something wrong with something
All vitan was doing was trying to implement some guidelines, Which is fine. He wasnt stating that there was no leneancy . he was merely creating or bumping (to be honest i havent read it yet) a set of rules/guidelines to make the entire process more uniform and easy on both the creator and user.
Might i suggest drafting a set of all of the rules combined and in an easy to navigate page and submit it to tramway. I think its a bit unfair to ask him to provide us with this great site, these great game, and a great community. Then expect him to keep track of everything by himself. Thats why there are moderators and such. They could be doing this but they are not.
Do not blame vitan for trying to incorporate some kind of law into a lawless land. Now, before i continue let me read what this is about lol..
P.S. not trying to offend anyone in this topic
As for your legal question of marijuana smoking... its is legal medicinally in some states. By claiming just because it is legal in your particular area or province or country or region that noone can talk about it is censorship.
Either way it was an opinion based on a movie. either way it was safe.

These are guidelines, I feel if a user goes absolutely crazy with their signature like in the lines of super large aka like 800x400+ then its an issue and the user should receive a pm asking them to resize said signature. As for the 2 pictures per signature...As long as they are unanimated and small sizes it shouldnt matter too much. These rules are about size and load time. As the internet speeds advance these stipulations will go up. because there wont be as much of an issue.
Braindead does make a point. Most people dont care about a signature as long as it is not overly offensive or annoying. You have a signature that is like 200x16000 people will report it. small size differences will be acceptable. if a signature is like 450x200 that shouldnt necessarily be removed.
etc.
starting to ramble gonna post this and see if there is anything i would like to add after re reading it

Would be good to add some additional ifnormation to the topic I linked to in post#1. Thanks for explaining the thing about size the_pillo, I find the way you see it fair and fine.

Signature and Avatar Rules:
1. No Racism or Pornographic images.
2. No overly offensive images
3. Max signature size = 400x150 pixels
Max avatar = 100x100 ,120x120 is fine though
4. 2 images per signature , the second being a banner.
5. Try to keep images around 75kb , If you must go higher then please be reasonable. A signature 5mb large will be removed.
6. If you are a ripper(use a signature without artists permission or without paying for it) You will be warned to remove the signature. If you do not this could result in warns/bans. or revoke of rights to have a signature.
General Trade Rules:
- Do not early bump. (Your own or someone else's topic; an early bump is when you post two back-to-back posts in one thread before 2 hours)
- Do not bump if your thread is already on the front page
- Do not make threads to evade this early bump rule. (you may be warned for this)
- Do not steal other peoples trade threads. (you may be warned for this, as it is spamming)
Signature Request Rules:
1. You must give your topic a deadline, no more than a month, and choose a signature by the end of your deadline. One month is the default if none is specified.
2. You must state the minimum payment, if you are looking for a free signature - please say so.
3. You are not allowed to use the Signature or Avatar until the designer has received your fg offer.
An Example of a good signature request would be along these lines:
- Looking for signature and avatar
- Closing my request in 1 week
- Offering 100-300 Fg
- I would like the sun hidding behind the clouds
- Signature size 300x100 and avatar size 100x100
- Colors: blue, white
- Signature and avatar must include my name
REMEMBER: The more you will describe what you are looking the better outcome you will get!
Providing a stock may result into getting much better outcome.
(stock is an image artist will work with if you provide it)
It is also good to mention:
Shapes, Style, Size, Animation, No Animation, ...
Upon choosing a signature:
1. Pay the artist who created it for you, unless specified that it is a free signature.
2. Host said image on your own website, unless otherwise specified (Photobucket, tinypic, imageshack, etc)
3. Please Private Message a Moderator or Graphic Artist to close your topic once you have receive signature.
Above All, Use common sense.

What do you think about that as in providing more information and atleast putting the graphic part all in one post, go ahead and add whatever you decide up. i threw in a couple of personal things so take a look and speak your opinion. REMEMBER, THEY SAY RULES, but they are more like guidelines ... not to say no harm will come from breaking them
