This sounds fishy, i think you had better reword the question. But according to paypals terms and conditions there is a 10 day, 30 day or 60 day cant remember, window for a refund from the vendor. Lets call the person with the gold the Vendor and the person buying the gold the user. User sends 10$ to Vendor for lets say 400fg. that 400fg is on the users account and the 10$ is on the vendors paypal. Now if User is not satisfied he may ask for a refund. In which case PAYPAL WILL INVESTIGATE and if a refund is deemed appropriate the user will then return the 400fg and the vendor would return the 10$.

Remember it may be pixels but if you piss off the wrong person.. there are precedents for virtual currency in the legal world. And you could go to jail... so think of that.

The charges placed on the person in the above article were entirely for the virtual theft NOT the physical assault.

Finally,
The biggest issue with the paypal exchange for account,FG,Items, etc is the fact that someone has to go first. And that person can then just take it and run. You can try and get it back but you would need more proof than you need to get said user banned. But if you collect that information, you can either report it to paypal and receive a refund OR take it to your local police station and report it as stolen property. Granted they will laugh at you, if you push you will win though.
