This is my version of the Trinity Ranger.

Well, to start it off. You're probably asking what a "Trinity Ranger" is.
The Trinity Ranger is one of the many rangers, including Storm Ranger, Holy Fire Ranger, or what i like to call "Burning Ranger". Along with dual element rangers.
But for this, it's simply a bow wielding Paladin that uses three elements.

The pros and the cons of this build:

Pros:
Good damage
Three elements to get rid of pesky immunes
Great for PvM
Very fun

Cons:
Low resists
Relying on elemental attacks which makes it practically useless in PvP
Costly

As for the skills, they are:
20 Fire Resist
20 Lightning Resist
20 Cold Resist
20 Salvation
20 Conviction
Rest is your choice

As for gear, I'm not going to list cheap, mid, expensive, because there isn't really a cheap way to make this character.
But, here it is:

Helm - Dream, preferably in a low req. helm.
Nothing else. Dream = Holy shock.

Armor - Dragon Mage Plate.
Nothing else. Dragon = Holy Fire.

Weapon - Ice Hydra Bow.
Again, no alternatives. Ice = Holy Freeze.

Gloves - Lavagout
Lavagout are best choice unless you can get some nice crafted gloves.

Belt - Up'd Razortail
Piercing Attack. Not many other options, but if you can't find one (you should be able to) then use a Goldwrap (ias) or Dungos (dr, vit).

Boots - Gorerider
Gores are just MY personal choice. If you can find some nice rares with resist, fhr, life, etc. go for them, or even Waterwalk, Eth Treks, or War Travs will work.

Amulet - Highlord's
Ias, +1 skill, Deadly Strike. What more could you ask for?

Rings - Raven and Wisp, or Bk and Raven.
Perfect PvM rings. Unless, you can get some dual leech rings with resist, life, str, dex.

On switch - CTA, and Spirit.
Self explanatory.

Inventory - Pally Torch, Anni, 20 lifers with resists.
Self explanatory.

Merc:
A2 Offensive Might Merc.

Weapon - Pride
Conc.

Armor - Fort
Damage, Resist.

Helm - Eth Gaze
Leech, Dr.

Game play:
PvM - Simple. Use Conviction, and shoot arrows and use your merc as a meat-shield.
Watch out, and don't get surrounded by big groups. And do not take a lot of projectiles at once.

PvP - If you do try PvP with this character, switch your gear, and try to snipe.
